Job Lot has 20lb calcium chloride bags for $5 in back of store. Half price of the 50lb bags in the front lol.

I filled up buckets of salt/sand mix from my local highway department, it’s free(courtesy of my tax dollars). See if your department has some.

I’m around RI/MA border and looks like we getting hammered. I’m an RN and it’s my weekend on(of course). Got the snowblower tuned up and fresh oil ready to go.

Praying I don’t get mandated to stay in hospital through Sunday, but got my bag packed just in case, and parking my car in the parking garage day before so I won’t have to dig out from 2 foot of snow or whatever after my shift.

Going to look for snow tubes for kids today, got sleds though.

Still prefer these New England winters to the heat in Louisiana.

^ Me when I see people use the ridiculous names that The Weather Channel gives winter storms. Winter storms don't have names. If they did, the National Weather Service would be naming them.

Boston could potentially hit a daily record for snowfall off this. I really want to catch a flight to Boston today and just watch it bomb snow.

I just want to point out that it is 2022 and we are all still dealing with Honkus's last brush with certain death.

All I'm saying is that if we hear that brother Honkus is stranded in a 10 foot snow drift......maybe we don't just send out the Saint Bernard with a whiskey barrel around its neck all willy-nilly like. Maybe we just take some extra time to think about the potential ramifications of our collective actions. Maybe.

Yea I will pre-treat with the towns salt/sand mix. I think that it will help with traction and melt after I snow-blow/shovel it.
