when did he buy it? before the storm Im pretty sure it was owned by an investment group led by Baggett. but he may have sold right before. there is some equipment in there I would love to buy.

2011, per the Assessor.

I had a lawsuit with them over 10 years ago, so I knew it had been a while

Head scratcher on fitness property, almost 7 yrs post Laura. Very little movement on the apartments on contraband either, give that half-arse dock/bulkhead a year max.
IMO, many of these commercial properties were underinsured, some took the payout and never intended to reopen.

I worked at the original Darrell's on Ryan Street. I never go back home without getting a sandwich.

umm ok he must have bought it when i moved out the city for a while and i didnt move back until after the hurricane so makes sense

and yea that property could go for big bucks. hell he has a ton of body masters equipment in there that is worth a ton since BM cant be manufactured anymore so would be crazy not to sell them and the whole place.

no telling though.
