Will Americans actually start cooking at home now? The start of declining obesity rates?

Chick-fil-a was pretty much the only fast food I eat, but their CEO telling me to go shine black people’s shoes means I won’t be going there anymore. With other fast food companies also coming out supporting black lives matter, will this mean white America will start cooking meals at home again?

Everyone loves their bag full of grease and large comes, but if whites actually follow through when they say they won’t be supporting company (fill in the blank) imagine how much healthier our country may be.

No. If all the restaurants in the country temporarily closing didn't do it, the actions of one owner of one restaurant chain won't, either.

If stay at home orders didn’t make people start cooking at home, I’m not sure why you think this will.

Damnit someone beat me to it.

No. White Americans are too lazy and undisciplined to stick to any boycott for long.

of all the cancel culture and kneeling crap out there ad "washing the feet" offends you....

the CEO is a devout christian.... there are numerous instances in the bible where Jesus washes the feel of those around him.... Christianity calls for its followers to be a "light unto the world" and to show "love and humility"....

in biblical days, washing the feet of your guest was a sign of respect...

No. Also, CFA will not experience any decline in sales bc of this.

Who gives a shite what their CEO says or does?

People will cook if they have to. Like during quarantine. Once that is over and restaurants are back, they'll be back to fast food and take out.

If the Brits can use stones as a unit of measurement, we can use babies dammit.

A good bit of the board is Catholic and likely don’t read the Bible regularly on their own....doubtful this message was included in what parts of the Bible are spoon fed to them in Mass

We started eating basically only what we grew in the yard about 4 years ago; with the exception being meat we buy off a neighbor. Make all our own pasta, bread, sweeteners, etc as well. Anytime we eat fast food now it makes us sick.

During quarantine our neighbors down the road started growing a pretty huge garden and came over for advice. They’re newlyweds and now we eat dinner together at least once a week using only what we grew, swap food when needed, etc. I wish more people cooked, it’s good to gather around with folks.
