I also don’t let my wife go to the gas station. I always fill up for her because of vagrants. This validates my concerns.

Same same but different, I'm afraid my wife will fill the truck up with gas. If she gets clobbered oh well.

and this story sounds really fishy, no robbery, just a hit and run??

But getting a lawyer and suing race track will get someones attention

This sounds like something from The Sopranos. You need to get Tony to take care of your little problem

I thought I had her trained better.

Not if she's pumping gas in that area of town.

Racetrac won't give them up. Liability issues. They failed on the safety of customers.

I’m usually holding a box of matches when pumping gas.

Hope the wife is ok. It's too bad that humanity has sunk to the level where they will not get involved and help someone that has been attacked.

Call the local news stations. And go in person to the gas station and ask the clerk to see the footage. I had my wallet stolen and found out what gas station it was used at. Ended up going to that gas station, asking the clerk to see the video, and she saved it to a disk for me.

I sent the video to the detective, who to that point had done nothing. Then a year later I see the picture on WAFB.

And you didn't fail anything.

Not trying to sound like a dick in my last comment btw. Glad nothing really bad happened to her. I would lawyer up but honestly without much of serious injuries to your wife lawyers may say "No" to your case.

You didn't say, so I'll ask: Was the perp one of the "usual suspects"?

When I said "pipe" maybe I should have said "round oblong object in hand".

It is very fishy honestly. But that dang CTSCAN bill ain't gonna be. So either green hair girl was part of the attempt to steal something...maybe the car. Or the dude is just nuts. Because why would he would just hit her once and take off????

On second thought I'm starting to think she made this shite up. She was probably on the phone and fricked up pumping gas. Claimed she got clubbed to cover up being dumb

You think your wife made this story up cause she fricked up pumping gas? How does one frick up pumping gas?

Go scorched earth. Lawyer up and get after some racetrac and BRPD arse.

Don't go beat the guy to death. The cops might not put any effort into arresting him becuase he's a bum arse POS, but they'll damn sure find your arse and lock you away. Damn shame because you sure should be legally allowed to kill the bastard.

If racetrack is potentially on the hook they will find some injuries.

Problem is then RaceTrac will decide to cooperate to prosecute. That's how this works.

I’m sorry this happened - my husband doesn’t let me pump gas by myself anymore - and he even fills up my mom’s car for her

You didn’t fail as a husband and I’m not surprised there wasn’t a robbery - There’s a group of vagrants that just like to cause trouble and hurt people and destroy
