What kind of a PD doesn't think this story warrants more effort in an investigation? If your wife was knocked out and kidnapped and worse... then would they GAF?

Same thing for me. Stolen wallet out of car, got calls from Amex about these idiots trying to use my cards for gas at Racetrack in Gonzales. Drove to Racetrack and cashier pulled tapes for me.

Gas stations are some of the most dangerous places. I had a guy try to pull me out of my truck as I was getting in it at the Shell station next to TJ Ribs on Acadian. Luckily I had my Glock 19 within arms reach and put it right between his eyes and threatened to blow his fricking brains out.
Don’t be hard on your wife it can happen to anyone. Best thing is to keep drivers door open. Keep yourself between the door and the hose pump.
