I'm not getting out to get a daiquiri. Drive thru is the ticket for me.

My dad and I talked about one for years. We just dont know if we have the desire to actually be in the bar business again.

The bar owner life is hard, and even harder if you aren't running it yourself.

Gotta have a drive thru

Or a Sonic style parking space.

Will the Sonic style parking spaces be for convenience or the inevitable knuckle-checking that will occur at a daiquiri shop?

Build it like a Checkers. Double drive-thru with an outdoor carryout counter. No customers allowed in.

Not sure where he's located but BR has weird laws around drive through daiquiris. They seem to have temporarily gotten rid of them for the Rona but not sure if that's permanent.

It's stupid because going in somewhere to get a to-go drink is perfectly fine.

I have no idea on the money, but the only ones I go to have a drive thru. If you're strictly "to go", why wouldn't you have a drive thru?

Those places are usually really busy. I don't think I've ever been to one without a wait of at least 3 cars ahead of me and usually more than that. The lines move pretty quickly, so if they have the customers, they can service a large number in a short period of time.

She'll end up cheating on you with either one of the employees or eventually one of the regulars. Especially if you're staying at the house in Louisiana and she's at the other house.

Enjoy the good times before that though.

The one in BSL does great without a drive through. They’re about to open their new building.

Thanks. I was interrupted when I was typing and didn't go back and refresh before posting.

IDK about the name of the business, but if I ever find a place that sells something called "Liquid Lobotomy" I'm buying a gallon.

Hmmm. What does it allow?

The model here in LA seems to be lots of machines (probably double what you were thinking), drive-thru, take-out, and video poker.

Does the other state allow go-cups / removal of the daiquiri from the premises?

I know in a lot of states, daiquiris are basically just part of a bar service, either in a stand-alone bar, or a restaurant bar, with only a few flavors available. And nothing to-go.

Without to-go or drive-thru, I don't see how a standalone place could make it, honestly.
