You're going to get some downvotes because "muhh bible" but this really is spot on. Differing sex drives doesn't mean a marriage has to dissolve, but it must be worked at to find an agreeable compromise. To just close down the store on your spouse is frankly cruel.

This doesn't always work. My wife went to one of these bio-identical hormone docs about 5 years ago, slightly overweight but with a decent libido. Now she is pretty close to "ideal" weight, but is ultra-bitchy and has no interest in sex.

I just can't get down with " just frick other people" logic. It opens up so many possibilities for massive headaches and problems down the road. What about your frick buddy? What if they get knocked up? Now you have that dynamic to deal with. What if she's crazy and goes full on insane? It just seems like a massive risk to me and honestly, if my wife and I are having the discussion of "let's just frick other people" the marriage is in dire position already. Either work out a solution with your husband or wife or split from the marriage. Introducing additional variables to the equation almost never makes the equation simpler.
