It is absolutely feasible for that to be the case.

There's no point in even engaging you if you think that's the case.

I and my coworkers often work 60+ hour weeks and out of the 25 or so people I work with one is fat so it's certainly doable, even for the statistically immaterial segment of the population that you cite as if it matters.

Because we only get so many heartbeats. Why waste them?

It’s far from statistically immaterial. It’s a pretty big chunk of the young professional population.

A big chunk of young professionals are not working 80+ hours a week and young people with college degrees are less fat than the rest of the population so you are wrong on that too.

Again, you are an idiot talking out of your arse.

First off, being skinny does not equal regular exercise.

Second, a lot of young bankers, lawyers, consultants, doctors, etc. work brutal hours. A lot of them travel extensively. That’s a big chunk in my book.

Personal Trainers are such figs

I never understood the need for a personal trainer. I mean you can’t look up and do a workout program on your own, so you pay someone? What a waste. I’m 47. I do this everyday and have since I was 38.I run a mile or a mile and a quarter. I then do 2 X 50 toe touches, 2 one minute leg lifts, 2 X 50 backward crunches and then the same for forward crunches. I then do 2 X 25 sit-ups while holding a 35 pound weight, 2 X 25 military style sit-ups, 2 X 25 across the chest sit-ups, and 2 X 25 butterfly sit-ups. I finish it off with 10 X 10 regular push ups, on 10 pound dumbbells, 4 X 10 regular push ups, 3 X 10 diamond push ups, and 3 X 10 military clap push ups. The last is a 4:15 plank. Keeps me in shape and healthy as I approach the big 50.

I had my annual physical yesterday. My doctor said 150 minutes of exercise a week, and I am relatively healthy.

Im as guilty as any - I need to find a way to fit it in. I work at a college. I have a gym full of 18-22 year old women 24/7. No excuses.

But for those of us with full time work and families, it is sometimes tough. I'd rather spend time with my girls than go to the gym.

This is pretty spot on for a lot of people. It can be tough to fit in if you have other responsibilities outside of a full-time work schedule.

And if you're a desk jockey (and a lot of people are), it's even more important to get up and move around during the work day. Studies are finding that even working out the evening doesn't necessarily offset all of the sitting we're doing. I'm guilty as hell about that.

Which is just factually incorrect

Yes, the infamous 1%. Anecdotally, it’s actually more than 1%, at least in major cities.

People aren’t fat because they don’t exercise, they’re fat because of their diet. Exercise won’t do much to offset if you’re guzzling sodas, chips, and fried chicken routinely. It’s why people who exercise to eat what they want burn out.

If you eat healthy all you have to do is walk to not be fat. If people can’t fit in 45-1hr to walk, they’re full of shite.

You cant say anecdotally on something that is a numerical fact retard. You just look it up.

Yep, you’ll never be able to out-exercise a shitty diet

That’s harder than you think. Try googling and piecing together detailed employment info by profession, age, location, etc. That is also unlikely to show accurate data on working hours.

I worked out a bunch in my 20s and 30’s, now it just hurts too much...

But my son and I rode bikes for 7 miles last night...

When I was younger, I could.

Now that I'm older... you are 1,000 percent correct.

I have never not exercised. It’s been an almost daily habit my entire life. I can’t even imagine. I balance it with extreme laziness. All in or lazy arse. One or the other.
