Calories out > calories in

Wow, you've outexercised a shitty diet. Why is that hard for people to understand?

I was referring to his claim that you can't still out exercise a bad diet insinuating that his metabolism is materially different, which is a myth.

Jesus you millennials have a lot to learn.

When I was younger, had no kids and no responsibility, I worked out a lot, played a lot of sports, etc. Whatever my intake was, I would always have time for my outtake to exceed it.

Work responsibility, kids, etc limits (does not eliminate, but limits) the time and intensity of workouts that I can have. I play in one softball league now instead of 4-5 softball and flag football leagues. I exercise before work instead of at night. So forth and so on.

There are indeed a lot of people that say your body processes relative to both change as you get older, but I'm not smart enough in those areas to quote them.

There aren't enough hours in the day to exercise off an extra 3000 kcals a day unless you're paid to do it. Diet so much more important for weight control. That's true when you're a teenager, and it's true when you're a grandpa.

Eat better, it's pretty damn simple and takes no more effort.

You're having a really bad day, I'd suggest taking some time away from the board after your performance.

I'm saying that's exactly what I've focused more on the last few years. Since I don't have the time to intensify exercise/sports anymore, eating better has taken on more importance.

No matter how many times you tell a lie, it will never become a truth.

How many calories do you think people burn in a high intensity workout?

It isn’t that many

The extra here leads me to believe you mean on top of a normal 1200-2000 a day diet. People eating nearly 5000 calories a day who aren't insane athletes should be shot.

yeah. if you're eating a healthy amount of calories (2000 per day or so), you aren't coming close to burning that in the course of normal exercise. You add in an extra thousand from liquid calories or shitty food and you're not even making a dent.

Most people burn somewhere are 2k just by being awake, but I get what you're trying to say.

Don’t eat like a pig and move around. It’s not that difficult. Some lazy frickers up in here.

If you don’t have time to workout: Skip lunch and go for a walk instead - 2 birds, one stone.

What if everyone on here actually started working out 30 minutes, 3-5 days a week? Would that actually make you happy? I don't think it would, because then your dumb sense of superiority would cease to exist.

It would, because there would be less disgusting fat people walking around. Also health insurance would decrease because less people with preventable conditions

Why cant people live their life as they choose? Why are you so insecure you need to rant about others health?

I work out a few times a week. I dont care if others do.

Let me enter a risk pool with people of my fitness level for insurance then I won't care.
