Great question. I had a little girl with my ex. She ran around behind by back, so I am a divorced dad. I want to see my daughter more and more. Why would a woman want to marry me? Not sure, but I’m seeing someone that is head over heels for me and can’t have children of her own. She adores my daughter.
I can imagine there are some situations where the genders can be reversed.
I don’t understand this board sometimes. We complain that the world is fricked, and a big issue is that there are kids running amok in broken families with no daddy present. Then when a guy does find a woman and is willing to help raise the child, he’s a beta cuck.

Huh?
Her getting a divorce doesn't mean the kids don't have a father.
Go ahead and marry a divorcee with kids.
When she divorces you you'll find out who's the real father, and it ain't you

Again, this is your insecurity speaking. It seems to me you have a huge fear of being cheated on.

Stepfather is another word for clown. Never raise another man's kids. Only to be disrespected and told you are not my dad. And if you try to discipline, the count will always side with the kids. This is especially true if you have no kids of your own.

The only exception is if her husband died.
That's different than being a single mom because she's a hoe.
Different than being a divorcee with kids because she broke her marriage vow.
And if he's dead then he's not in the picture.
In that case she could be a good woman that has a child and is back on the market through no fault of her own.

I mean you get to be the hero of the situation.
And if you are going into this as previously unmarried with no kids of your own then that’s on you. Make the jump and stop being a lonely bum.

why would a grown man spend the time to post on a social media site like this questioning other people's lives and decisions? Or probably lives in his home town or not far from it.

Good thing my sister’s successful second husband didn’t think like you after she divorced her first verbally abusive husband.

Some quick notes about it. Done it a couple of times. No thanks.
* You get attached to the kid or kids. It rips your heart out when you can't see them anymore, worse than losing the woman. Hurts even more when you find out they are hurting from breakup.
* It seems there is always a custody fight or court fight over modifying the divorce order. That means, depositions, having to put up with PI's, and dealing with the legal system.
* Known a few women who had deadbeat exes so they married while their kids were young or were in custody fights (see above) so they married a simp friend who thought he hit the jackpot. Then when kids graduated from school, they divorce within a year. No coincidence.
* Of course, there is the bitterness and all that crap you have to deal with as well.
Just my two cents.

Are you the sad sack of shite that was posting all depressed divorce threads a couple of years ago? Happy for ya!

I suppose we should just let society be raised by single mothers.

What about women that have kids out of wedlock?
An example would be LSUCoyote’s baby momma. She has at least twins. Maybe more? Wonder if anyone married her?
How is LSUCoyote handling it?

I've never met a divorced woman who wasn't married to an "abusive" husband
Why did they marry these abusive guys to being with?
