Why would a man marry a divorcee with kids?

Being married to a divorcee with kids seems like an emasculating humiliation ritual.
Her ex, the guy that banged her for years, will forever be in her/your life because of the kids.
Every sporting event, there he is, the real dad.
Every school function, there he is, the guy that railed her when she was young and hot.
Graduations and Weddings, there he is again.
Not to mention that as the stepdad you will get attached to her kids.
Yet If she divorces you you'll have no legal rights to even see the kids, because they aren't your kids.

Weak minded simp who puts the pussy on a pedestal and doesn't have a strong Family and friends to advise him otherwise.
I pity them, but if they're happy and can raise them right, it's none of my business.

Buddy of mine married a girl that was 28 with two kids by two different husbands, then they had two more.
So by 34 or so she had four kids by three husbands.
Guess what, she ran off with another man.

Not to mention, all of her and the stepdad's resources will go to her children. Imagine paying thousands upon thousands for someone else's kid's college tuition.
The most diabolical women, though, are the ones who get the stepdads to adopt her kids, then divorce them and litigate for child support.

How does questioning the wisdom of marrying a divorcee with kids make you an incel?

A friend of mine had a brother that did exactly that.
He adopted her 3 kids and two years later she divorced him.
He was paying child support for 3 kids that weren't his.

I don’t go to the sporting events, that’s his thing with them.
I don’t attend their school functions.
I take care of two boys like a man should.
I hit every one of their maturity and growing thresholds with what they needed.
I am raising men not boys.
I would be lying if I didn’t want a better relationship with them. Hunting or fishing. But time will tell if that’s in the cards. They are both better than me when I was their ages.
I watched these boy grow into great individuals regardless of the sacrifices I made and they will never know.
This country needs more men and less boys raised by single mothers.

Love know no bounds.
If a man wants to step into a family’s life and be the fatherly figure that is needed, that is what a real man does. I’ll never belittle someone who’s helping the kids and family. Now the dead beat dads on the other hand… frick ‘em.
But in this particular situation you stated, the man has every right to be there for his children. This sounds like there is animosity towards the man who still wants to be in the kids life. Is the stepdad worried about what’s been in her box, or is he focused on the family?? That’s the real question here.

Sometimes the kids attach to the step-dad and couldn't care less about the bio dad. This is especially true if bio dad was abusive.

Another many has to pay for kids. Every other weekend is child free. No child support when she leaves for another guy later on.
Raising another man’s children while he has to pay the bills is the ultimate comeback to anyone saying they railed the mom when she was younger. “Maybe so, but you are paying me to get to raise your kids and you are my babysitter every other weekend, a month during the summer, and on major holidays allowing me to travel. Plus the kids hate you for the divorce and will think the mom is the problem if she divorces me.”

So what was the point of marrying her?
Why buy the cow if the milk is free?

Depends on the circumstance and age of the kids IMO

They’ll remember you more for showing up to see their accomplishments. You’re a good man for doing what you are doing, but you could be a great father figure by showing you are interested in what they are doing.
