Why wasn’t Tate’s name on the list of the 8 semi finalists released by search committee?

He was on the radar of at least one BofS member five months ago so it’s not like he was a complete unknown.

Because he was always going to be the hire, and the BOS/LSU in general is so weak in general that they couldn’t handle sustained public outcry before the decision.

Is this a real question? They didn’t want him OU live because donations will plummet.
It’s one thing to have a black university president who obviously has overcome a ton of obstacles and wants to show the path of success to others. But this a-hole is going to do the opposite and push his racist CRT throughout the university.
The Flagship is not going to recover from this.

There was no search committee. This entire thing was f*cking rigged from the beginning. John Bel Edwards' DC DNC overlords picked this racist piece of f*cking filth. In return, for Edwards putting this scumbag in charge of LSU, he’s going to get the ambassadorship for the Vatican. There was never any f*cking real candidate search.
