I'm guessing they took it off the floor for safety reasons, i.e., you'd typically take your foot off the brake if you wanted to flash your brights at someone while you were stopped.

Are you telling me you use your left foot for the brake?

Don't @ me baw. My carolina squat F-150's lights go way over any cars on the road since I didn't re-aim them.

My halogen bulbs on my old Acura TL used to blind people on the low beams.

They put in LED headlights or a “squat” and are too dumb to adjust them.

Exactly, I get lights flashed at me a lot when driving my wife’s (no pics) 4Runner. I usually flash the brights back at them, and it always comes from someone in a small car.

I bought a car Friday and it has some bright arse lights installed. I was flashed 3 times on my way to work this morning while I'm running low beams. So what is proper protocol when you get flashed but are on low beams? Should you flash back to let them know you are not running high beams or do nothing? I did nothing and nobody lit up thier high beams until they passed me.

It could be HID bulbs in a halogen housing not designed to disperse the light. Light Output is scattered and they blind you.

some jackass driving trucks jack the front end up causing to seem like high beam. The jackasses who do fail to adjust their headlights down.

i was coming home from college one day and my low beams went out, so i had to keep high beams on. felt bad about blinding everyone, but i'm sure they would prefer that to a head on collision.

A lot of times its just drivers with bright arse led headlights, that don't even have it on high beam. My headlights are bright as frick, I had to adjust them where they're pointing further down than they should be.

The proper protocol is to properly adjust your low beams so they aren’t so high.

Sometimes their low beams are just super bright if your vehicle is at the right angle. Plus people don't take the time to correctly aim their headlights. I hate a high beamer.

The only time I use high beams is to flash oncoming cars that won't turn their high beams off.

I only use my 4 led light bars on my squatted truck and blacked out the headlights so not to blind anyone

I'm sorry, you're right. I should have said clutch -- for those on this board who even know what that is.

I am constantly meeting drivers on highbeam, and they seldom use the dimmer switch.

i don't even know what the hell you are talking about.
a dimmer switch? what the hell is this?
You have your regular lights, and high beams. there's no dimmer.
Are you trying to complain about people leaving their high beams on and not switching back to their regular lights?

My auto dimming f’s sometimes too. Also, I get flashed all the time bc my stock led headlights are bright and my truck seems to be at a height to screw with small cars. It is not leveled either, all stock.

I’m sure they really get pissed when I flash them back bc the brights are about the power of 7 suns.

My dad taught me to drive at age 13-14

90% of shitty driving nowadays can be attributed to the decline in dads teaching their kids to drive.

Single parent households, with only a mom as an active parent means women are teaching more and more kids how to drive.

And women suck at it.

In fact, you can take the above cause, and apply it to most of today's problems with society.

Thanks LBJ, may you burn in hell.

That's not why people don't use turn signals. They think only suckers let other people know what they're about to do.
