Easily. I'd also say July after the 4th.

Yep, I spent a couple hours working in the yard between cutting, trimming, weeding, harvesting things out the vegetable garden then watering since we've not had much rain.

I too was soaked in sweat and just about every bit of grass clippings and dirt that hit my body just clung to it, so much so that I had to hose off before heading inside.

As young adults, we associate it with the summer breaks we had as kids and that continued through college. All great times!

As a parent, summer sucks b/c shuffling kids to summer camps suckS worse than sending them to school. Then at the end of summer we have to deal with a week or two in August where you have no camp or school so you have a pay a small fortune to have some 19 year old come over and eat from my pantry to watch Netflix on her phone just so I can work to afford all the babysitting, school supplies, and uniforms. Parents don't take vacations. Parents take their kids on vacation. Huge difference.

CFB starts in September, therefore it is better than August

there is literally nothing in August other than miserable heat

And dad gets to enjoy maybe an hour on the beach because he has to lug all the shite to the beach, set it all up, and then take it down and lug it all back to the condo.

Mid march through April is the worst for me. Mud season.

Summer is too short, fall lasts forever it seems. Winter is unpredictable.

The worst time of the year is late Spring where it's still hot, but not hot enough to warm my pool to a decent temp.

At least September is the beginning of the end as far as miserable heat goes. Labor day weekend is one of my favorites, dove season, teal season, college football, etc. Also, it's close to holiday season.

In general I think everyone is just in a better mood once Summer ends and fall arrives

Standing at a grill in nothing but a swimsuit with a cold beer and then jumping in the pool while listening to some great tunes is about as good as it gets to me. I also love the beach. We just returned from Punta Cana and I can’t think of one memory from a winter month that comes close to this past week.

And still not long enough. It's by far my favorite time. There are 2 times I get angry at the sky....1. when it's deep summer and it's so hot I'm just literally upset andytime I'm not in A/C..and even worse 2. when it teases a 70's breezy day then switches back to upper 80's for a week before it's real fall

I love October, finally a cool front will push through, college football, the World Series, and the holidays just around the corner.
