Well op is in the south, and you DO NOT want to see the majority of southern women in bikinis and short shorts.

Right now up here in Iowa, it’s rather pleasant. Makes up for the misery that is winter, however, this past winter was rather mild compared to 2021.

Love summer. It's hot but I like being outside.

Because outside of the bowels of hell that is the southeastern US, summer is a great time of year.

I hate being cold. I would rather sweat then be cold....unless I'm sleeping. Sleeping hot sucks balls.

I enjoy being in the pool, at the lake, going to the beach. Also has Memorial Day and the 4th of July which are super patriotic holidays.

I love it. I enjoy having hot weather and generally less rain for a while.
Couldn't have said it better myself.

frick that. If you're cold, you can always do things to get warmer.

Once you're sweating, you're fricked.

I hate being cold. I also hate being hot.

Its why fall and springs are the best.

August is the worst month of the year

Truer words have never been said

January: New Year, CFB and NFL playoffs
February: Bootie Day, Mardi Gras, College baseball starts
March: St. Patrick's, Mardi Gras, Easter
April: Easter
May: Memorial Day, Mother's day
June: CWS, Father's day
July: Independence day
September: Labor day, CFB returns
October: NFL returns, Halloween
November: Thanksgiving
December: Christmas, NYE

August: oppressive heat and humidity

In the South it is miserable for 4 months . Give me winter, it rarely gets truly cold. Much more enjoyable IMO

I like doing yard work.
July 4th.
Baseball.
Beach trips.

I enjoy the heat and being on the water, so that's the reason for me

Additionally, I'd have to imagine most young people still associate summer with no school

I will admit that summer isn’t as fun as an adult due to the crowds and I hate kids

I don't know anyone in south GA that prefers summer to fall or spring.

would rather sweat 365 days a year than freeze 1.

A few years back during the heat of summer, an old timer looked at us young bucks in the 14th tee and said, “Boys, come January when we’re freezing our dicks off and it’s honestly too cold to be playing golf, remember this day. Stop complaining and start making birdies.”

I can handle 120F if the wind is blowing.
When there is no wind and it is 92F and 90% humidity in Louisiana it becomes oppressive quickly. I can't stand still in this type of weather, I have to be moving all the time and I'm 150lbs.
