Kind of like I like to kill turkeys and my family is cool with that, but I'm pretty sure they would be upset if a turkey killed me.

Animals in general, and specifically dogs, especially my dogs, are innocent of any malice, hate, shittiness, or trashiness exhibited by most humans.
I had to venture in to a Walmart today for the first time in a long time. I was reminded of the filth and idiocy that is a large segment of the human race.
I can't even hardly watch nature shows anymore due to the soft spot I have for animals.
But videos like the thug getting his arm shot by the old gu with the shotgun, that shite warms my heart like little else.

I have two cats. One of them is in my lap every single night, without invitation. Cats are affectionate, and it has nothing to do with food.
Dogs and cats have been domesticated for thousands of years. Most dogs are not equipped to survive in the wild. Most will work for their keep. Mine works security, and also helps me get exercise.

They are not married and do not have kids frankly because they are so terrible at human relationships. So they try to duplicate this missing human love with having a pet and calling their pet their family when the truth is the pet would like anybody who feeds it.
