Oh sure it is, just as much as deciding to sit down to take a piss instead of standing, same thing they call swinging which is disguised as good old fashioned cheating on your spouse.

I was watching a documentary about Yellowstone the other day. The biggest moose takes a harem of 20-30 females, fights off other males and impregnates all of them.
On the one hand that sounds fun, but realistically I would have probably opened a vein years ago after having to put up with all of them for even a short period of time.

It does make sense when you understand how we evolved. Human beings are polygamous by nature. If we weren’t, we would have been extinct a long time ago. In order to populate the Earth, men had to take many mates. Society and rules aren’t going to come along millions of years later and change men’s nature.

And the whole notion of marrying for romantic love and happily ever after? 20th Century phenomenon perpetuated by an egalitarian society and Hollywood in which one person is supposed to provide everything physically, emotionally and financially for a lifetime. Perhaps when life expectancy was into the 30s, now we’re living into our 80s. It’s unrealistic.
And we wonder why divorces rates are what they are, and 20 million other marriages are classified as ‘sexless’.

I guess if I ever got to the point where i didnt gaf about my wife anymore and didnt wanna split the family up.. Other than that, hell no. Ive never seen these stories end well.

Because there are some couples out there who are both secure with themselves and trust their spouse enough to know that there can be “just sex” with others without any emotional involvement. I think we can all agree that when you know “its just sex” you can have no emotions involved.
