Yeah I'll be on the west side so I feel comfortable staying. We road out Michael when the eye passed right over the house
Being within the eye itself is not what’s bad, that’s very little activity relatively speaking, it’s the eye wall that’s what is devastating. Hope you’re positively sure you’re not in that.

why does the GFS have it way weaker than the HWRF, HMON, and the HAFS? 960mb (GFS) to 920mb on the others. Low cat 3 or damn near a cat 5
Just love it when a man talks dirty.

I know… my husband was deployed to LA and then MS for rescue efforts and any and all kinds of assistance. Don’t need to remind me… couldn’t speak to him for 6 weeks. I’ve had my personal experiences let me tell ya.

Family and I lived in Broward county when Andrew hit. I was home for summer break from UGA. We didn’t evacuate. Our neighbor who played for the Dolphins came over to help my dad tape down the back side of our home which was all glass. Mean SOB. Most powerful hurricane to hit US since 1969. Florida prepared better than any state could. But it was traumatic

and everyone in those counties know DC well enough to know policymakers will simply pass another continuing resolution to keep that from happening. Talk of gov’t shutdown is simply elected officials way of keeping voters such as yourself worried yet engaged.

Vandergriff is a tough kid he seriously has Tebow tendencies and his teammates were pumped. Recipe for potential disaster going in. Who didn’t take the points?
