We have one and love it. We have 3 year old twins, so we don’t really care what others are thinking of us as we are cruising down the road in the swagger wagon.

I'm with you on this. I had one for a company vehicle for a job I had at one point and it was great. Storage galore, got decent gas millage, very comfortable seats and never had a problem. Now, the windows were tinted to the max because we were hauling some equipment, but no one thought to break into a 2003 Sienna MiniVan. My personal vehicle has been a truck of one type or another since high school, so hardly a beta.

Plenty people drive minivans. They’re just shaped a little less usefully and called SUVs.

But I tell you, nothing makes a fat soccer mom look cooler than a Highlander.

They're actually very common these days but are now called crossovers. Van's are SUVs with car frames. You can call it a different word all you want but the facts dont change.

Drive a T&C and it’s paid off.

Don’t care what people think of my vehicle.

Old school 80's Ford Econoline was always my favorite. Driving that bitch was like floating on a cloud.

Why did America move away from the station wagon? CAFE standards.

Fuel efficiency requirements by the government for a company’s whole fleet of cars convinced companies to discontinue station wagons, which are calculated as a car, and instead use minivans and SUVs which are calculated as trucks.

Everyone that has not yet had kids hates on mini vans and swears they will never own one. Once you have your first kid you will quickly realize the mini van with sliding doors is the solution to all issues encountered when hauling around a kid and all their required stuff.

Vans are the best car sex. Its roomy. It works for on the fly and prepping a little pad. Weather doesnt matter. Its a good time.

We had a Honda Odyssey and it was a nice ride for a point in time in our lives with small kids. The sliding doors are great for quick boarding/onboarding and there is plenty of storage for trips, etc.

That said, owning a van just doesn’t feel good as a man. It feels as if you are driving with a suspended man card. We had a van for nine years while raising three young boys and it served a purpose, but I don’t want to roll in one again.

They like the SUV because it is a classier vehicle. Seems like that ugly arse Pontiac is marketed to the kids that had the cool shoes in middle school.

Crossovers yes, but I wouldn't include all SUVs.

We have a Toyota Sienna. I drive it all the time.

When it dies, I’m thinking about getting another one just to trigger all the people out there who believe I need to care about what they think.
