Why aren’t there signs on the interstate in BR telling slower traffic to keep right

Or the left lane is for passing? I’ve seen these signs in other areas, why not here?

In BR proper? Because there’s the need to merge/exit on the left

Would it matter? You think people would pay attention to that? That require them looking up from their phones.

There needs to beat least one lane that 18-wheelers can’t get in.

Apparently we believe in survival or the fittest.

Someone going slow in the fast lane won’t be alive much longer considering how shitty the average driver is here.

because idiot politicians decided making it illegal to use half the roads by saying its illegal to drive in the left lane was a better idea then passing a law requiring slower traffic to stay in the right lane.

but thats what politicians are best at, making bad situations even worse

Between Lobdell and Airline (12) and Bluebonnet (10), left lane etiquette makes no sense. Too much merging.

This is why traffic backs up. Jackasses that think they are going fast enough. Move over and let faster cars pass.

People don't read signs no matter how big or obvious they are.

If they’re driving the limit or over, they’re driving fast enough.

At least once every time I’m on my way to New Orleans, some baw rides my arse in the left lane (I’m passing, but not fast enough for him I guess). Every time this happens, I subtract 5 from my cruise control and let him enjoy the wait.

Be a use most people wouldn’t obey the sign anyway. They’d see it as a challenge. A dare.

Just accept that most drivers in La are gonna suck regardless of where you are.

I’ve seen them in other areas and people still cruise in the left lane.

Because that would reduce wrecks and Gordon and his ambulance chasing brothers can’t have that

Because usually all lanes are going the same speed. Slow or stopped

Went to Houston and back this weekend and thought of the same thing. Also wonder why BR along I10 is the only stretch where you basically have to come to a complete stop to make a harsh curve left or right (depending on if you’re east or west bound). Which is part of what causes such a huge traffic jam at the bridge.
