I'll agree with that. It does seem like more people are upset about people being upset than there are actual people that are upset.

Speaking of black Ariel, you got any of those without the cultural appropriation of White women hair.

because of a message you’re fabricating
yeah because entertainment media hasn't made a habit of replacing white characters with black/brown ones, as well as male with female, and straight with gay. The gaslighting that follows it is really getting old, and a good sized majority of the public is getting tired of it as is evident by the overwhelming down vote ratio of the trailer. But yeah, it's just me fabricating a message .

They do. Same with music and that always gets appropriated by lame white people (see Elvis)
Pretty sure I heard a rapper sampling a British Rock band song and even used the same lyrics for the chorus.

First time you’ve heard of sampling, honky?

I’m not upset. I’d bang a black mermaid. It’s the whole scaly tail thing that’s weird, not the race.

winner winner.
Most pretending to be above such pettiness. Yet they are posting and behaving in the same manner as the very thing they claim to be above.

Purple half human, half octopus villains.
Talking fish.
But, a black mermaid is just a bridge too far.
They will not erase Caucasian Mermaids!

Where do you think they got the instruments from?
Cultural appropriation Is the most cockamamie thing I’ve heard in a long time, no one owns music, all music built off the traditions of others.
The ridiculous notion that black people just came up with all music and invention out of the æther is just bizzare.
Music is a shared HUMAN experience.

This entire thread and the other thread was about 98% dumb southerners clutching their pearls over the race of a cartoon fish. The 2% are the rational people making fun of dumb southerners.

a lot of effort your spending pretending to be above it all.

Nice job of trying to change the definition of snowflake, dickhead. You people do that a lot.
Now to answer the question you tried to ask but garbled horribly by calling the namers the named.
Disney is a publicly traded company. there are laws aboot their fiduciary responsibilities to their investors. Disney generates revenue by maintaining a series of parks for people to attend. They additionally are a huge media company, generating family-friendly media. They have 100% ownership of many other media outlets, some generating content for older users, in the forms of movies, TV, sports, and live theater.
Their core base of customers are not shy aboot making sure Disney knows if they like, or don't like something. It has been made clear to the company that their clientele does not want woke, and gay content forced on them. The big Foray into a lesbian kiss cost the company aboot $800 million, by earning substantially less than the movie would have made without the gay content being forcefully inserted. It actually cost the company aboot $400 million by adding that scene when their public was telling them "We do not want it".
While the Covid farce hurt the stock price, it could be back up another $70-80 now, without this bullshite. Wall street is showing that they have no confidence in the current leadership of Disney Bad decisions aboot woke shite, and picking fights with the governor and state legislature aboot grooming children is not smart business.
So basically, I don't like it because it is digging in my pocket, and some of it is immoral. Trying to force children to watch gay shite is fundamentally wrong.
