Why are my auto insurance premiums shooting up?

I'm getting to where I'd like to just do away with the insurance requirement. It isn't enforced against illegals, Louisiana fines you for the state's clerical errors, and scammers fake injuries that magically happen to add up to the policy limit.
Just have it where you can buy insurance to protect yourself against the idiots.

Cost to repair has gone up more than 40% since 2021. Replacement cars also much more expensive.
