Who was slimier, Goebbels or Himmler?

Not the most evil. I think that would have to go to Himmler.
But when I think of sad little men that weaseled their way into power under Hitler, these two are at the top of the list.

Himmler was an opportunist. At the end he tried to cut a side deal with the western allies to save his own neck.. Goebbels was a true believer.

Goebbels always gave off that “slimier” vibe to me - not so much with Himmler.

Himmler was strange, even by Nazi standards. Clearly there was some sort of mental delusion going on and everyone just kept feeding into it. I don't think Goebbels actually stood for anything but he was certainly aware of all the shite that went on.

Goring: Morphine addict who was doing air stunt shows after WWI
Rudolph Hess: literally insane
And lost if this is verifiable not even defensible via “the winner writes history” argument

All of Hitler's inner circle had mistresses, but Goebbels was a first class womanizer. He was in charge of the country's movie industry & he supposedly had 50+ actresses as on/off mistresses, using his governmental position to force a lot of them into his bed. As is widely known, not only did he kill himself & his wife, he & his wife poisoned all 6 of his children.

Goebbels is the exact kind of guy everyone hates today.

Goebbels knew that he was FOS and spread propaganda to the German population. That made him disingenuous and a liar, and slimy, but not more slimy than Himmler.
Himmler was a slimy, evil(so was Goebbels) bastard. He made Goebbels look like a choir boy.
