Goebbels was a rascal, Himmler was more of a knucklehead.

I like how you threw Biden in there to try to not seem like a mouth breather.

New Nuremberg trials show on Netflix is worth the watch for anyone reading this thread.

Absolutely is. I liked that they went into detail about what happened on the Eastern Front. We've always focused on the Western Front because that's where we had our involvement but some crazy shite happened on the Eastern Front. The Massacre in Kiev was exceptionally disgusting and is what led to the death camps. This event is what one of the previous posters referenced when talking about brains getting onto the uniform of Goebbels. He was being shown just how inefficient it was to exterminate the Ukrainians by way of the bullet.

Neither one ever claimed the nickname of "Honor code", then proceeded to be aboot the slimiest cocksucker in LA history, a state known for SC's as governor.

This question makes me think of this song. Sung to the "Colonel Bogey March" better know as "The Bridge over the River Kwai March."

Hitler has only got one ball,
Göring has two but very small,
Himmler is rather sim'lar,
But poor old Goebbels has no balls at all.

TBF most people in political circles would go along given the opportunity for advancement. It doesn't take ideological commitment. Heinrich Mueller, head of the Gestapo, never even joined the Nazi Party. In fact he rounded up Nazis before they came to power, and he was so good at it they kept him on. Heydrich didn't seem to have any affinity for Nazism or animosity toward the Jews until he married into a Nazi family and his new wife introduced him to Himmler. His Navy career was going nowhere and he was looking for a new job. HImmler offered him one and he threw himself into it wholeheartedly. He craved power and authority and he was cruel for the sake of cruelty, but he could have just as easily been a communist instead if the opportunity had presented itself.
