I remember thinking that was break time between the funny cartoons.

I remember my grandmother making those for all the grandkids during summer. We loved them.

I just sang the preamble just to see if I remembered it. Like riding a bike

Did the exact same.

Regarding the cheese cartoons:

Just yesterday, my wife said, "I'm so hungry, I could eat a wagon wheel!"

IYKYK

I also have the Schoolhouse Rock collection on DVD.

I liked the one the Simpsons had

I'm an amendment to be
Yes an amendment to be
and I'm hoping that they'll ratify me
There's a lot of flag burners
Who have got too much freedom
They want to make it legal for policemen
To beat em
Cause there's limits to our liberties
At least lets hope and pray that there are
Cause those liberal freaks go too far

Who remembers when this board used to be more active? It seems like the first page of the OT keeps the same threads for about a week.

It's the lack of young, new blood coming in. When was the last time the OT hardlegged a new female poster? Had a thread about frat/sororistute drama? Needed teacher/class recs?

Most of us groan at the thought of those but they were a sign that we had a regenerative population (with new, young posters replacing those who moved on).

Owe is just doing some subtle politicking to get his new topic posting privileges back. Don’t fall into his trap.

They were still playing it when I went through school, born in 1991 here. Some of the songs still randomly pop in my head from time to time.

What makes this one really funny is that they got Jack Sheldon to sing it!

He parodied himself and it was perfect.

The Figure 8 song used to piss me tf off as a kid. I hated that one but I loved pretty much all of the other ones. Many of those songs will still get stuck in my head today lol.

Would that work today? It sure did work for my generation. Born in 1972

Bought the DVDs for my kids and it helped. Best educational tools before Youtube.
