Both Jesuit boys. I doubt they commuted to New Orleans every school day.

Was Fred Foster's office neighbor's secretary in Nashville. Kris worked the rigs of shore as a pilot and came to BR or NO to catch flights to Nashville.

OK, I take things waaaayyy too literally. Yes, me and bobby were busted flat, and we flagged a diesel down and came out of baton rouge. mea culpa

Barry Seal and it is not even close. There have been 2 movies made about him. At the time he was one of the largest if not the largest drug smugglers in North America. He was known world wide before the internet was even a concept. Youngest pilot to fly a 747 commercially. Was in the CIA since he was 17. Was in the civil air patrol with Lee Harvey Oswald. Allegedly flew the get away plane for the real assign that shot JFK. Died with the direct phone number to George H Bush on him who was president at the time. Allegedly had pictures of the Bush brothers loading cocaine on one of his planes in Miami. Some how the Bush’s wound up with one of his King Air turbo props his favorite plane after he died. The list goes on and on.

If Shaq counts, then it's Shaq. I could see how he might count as his rise to fame truly started in Baton Rouge.

In which case Livvy Dunne counts too and in 2024 she's more famous than just about anyone else mentioned.

Randy Jackson is pretty high up there as well. I haven't watched American Idol in a long time but still associate him with the show. Surprised he hasn't been on since 2013, thought he was on more recently.

Then it's Nick Saban, Dale Brown, Pete Maravich or Skip Bertman.

Shaq would trump all these. And Dale and Skip, for as good as they are, aren’t known outside of serious college sports fans.

Will Wright, creator of SimCity, The Sims, etc, has to be up there.

He designed some of the most influential games of all time.
