Who here remembers LSU's phone registration system, Reggie?

We had a mysterious 2nd phone line in my roommate's bedroom that was there and active when we moved in. The only time we ever used it was to plug a phone in to call Reggie.

And the racing form with the classes listed? Good times.

yes. hours of hitting hook....redial....hook....redial....hook....redial....

finally getting in then timing out after all the classes you want were filled up and you scrabmled topick a different schedule...hook....redial...hook.... redial....

though beats the previous system of having to stand in a line to get a class, only to have it fill up and you run to the next line.

Dude the worst was when you had roommates and were using Reggie. Just sweating with the degree audit...... knowing you were going to have early classes.

trying to schedule classes was tense as frick because even if you were lucky enough to get in, you had a certain amount of time to enter your courses before it would kick you off.
