I remember doing the same thing at Alabama in the mid 80’s. Sucked, but was better than what was before, which was the bubble dots on paper. Didn’t know if you got the class until later and had to stand in a huge crowd to drop/add at Coleman Coliseum.

Yes, and I remember the bar that was named after it.

Sounds like something the Destroya would approve of.

I think my SSN was printed on my schedule.

I specifically remember when I was taking GEOL 1201 we’d take quizzes and tests on loose-leaf or in Blue Books. Name and SSN @ the top of the paper. Must have been 120+ names and SSN’s on that desk in the front. They’re probably still piled in a corner of some prof’s office in Howe Russell.

I believe every school had that fricking system. I forget what Tulane's was, but it was identical to REGGIE, from what's been described.

frick that system.

Scheduling classes was stressful but listening to him speak at 2 words per minute while checking your grades was grueling as well.

I remember registering whatever I could and then walking to classes to try to get in and constantly calling during add/drop to make my schedule better.

I had an ex-girlfriend at the time try to convince me the closer you were located to LSU, the easier it was to get through. We lived in Central amd it was always hard to get through on those first few days. She would go to her friends sorority house to try to schedule due it being closer. I don’t think we event settled that stupid argument.
