It's a shame that some of you breed.

After working for several years in a hospital setting I am very informed as to the effectiveness of the flu shot. Covid is a totally different matter.

My mom would get the flu shot every year ,and beg me to get it too. I never did , she would get sick every year and say if I didn't get the flu shot the doctor said I probably would have almost died . Lol I always thought it was funny , I never would get it and never would get sick. She would get it and always get sick , my sister was a nurse and tell her well it's a different strain of the flu than what you got a shot of.
To each their own but I want be getting any shot unless I'm half dead and don't know that I'm getting it

After the covid lie I will never trust public health officials ever again. Mrna is still experimental. Fortunately I didn’t participate in the Covid vaccinations. Pure blood here.

What’s with these flu shot threads? Are you folks seeking affirmation? Is this some sort flex? A PSA?

Just go get one if you want it and quit telling others about it.

At one point I got the flu shot like 3 or 4 years in a row and each time I had a mild case of it after... But that last time I got it.. I guess I got the strain that wasn't in the vaccine? I just know I never had the flu. Well at least as an adult, I don't think I did as a kid, but everyone is different and it seems like different people have different experiences.

Personally, for me, I think maintaining a healthy immune system and reducing stress (which impacts your immune system) is as good of a defense against the flu. That's what seems to work for me.

And in order to maintain a healthy immune system you have to be around people.. Which is a balance, because obviously one way to reduce getting sick is to stay away from people or reducing contact with them, but being around people also works like a vaccine. It keeps your immune system fighting off the normal shite it fights off on a regular basis and if it doesn't have to do it, you then have to build it back up again..

After what they did with Covid I’m done with vaccines. Up until that point I had gotten one every year.

So. I am forced to get all vaccines. I have no choice. I am trying to get an organ and they will deny non vaxxers including covid shot.
I've only had the flu twice in my life. I hate being forced to get these shots. I have taken every vaccine. If there is a tax for it I've been forced to take it. I usually get two shots a month but usually one id mycerma which is $2000 a syringe.

I haven’t had a flu shot in at least 20 years and have never had a terrible case of the flu.

I got mine two days ago. I hate getting sick so I take it and I'm so used to getting it after having the military make you get it for over 20 years of my life.
