I’m perfectly fine with it though, I enjoy cooking.
Same here. Prepping and cooking a meal while watching a ball game is an underrated pleasure.
I am so ready for fall/winter.

The only way to measure your roux color is in beers consumed.

I cook 99% of our meals. Wasn’t always that way but I enjoy cooking. Tuesday night grilling chicken with a cold beer is what’s up.

Louisiana boy with a northern wife.
Who do you think does the cooking here?
Outside of baking she isn't touching shite.

I'm the cook in our household. My wife will cook maybe 2-3 times a month and it's usually not going to be a meal that requires a lot of prep work and detailed cooking skills to make it work.
I'm fully retired, and have been for a while now and my wife is still working full time, at least until she turns 67 later this year and will probably retire from full-time work.
Doesn't matter, I'll still be the cook for as long as I can do it. My range of different dishes I can cook and styles of food is pretty vast and I've not had anyone who's eaten my food complain it wasn't damn good eating.

Me 95% of the time. I like to cook and hate to clean. My wife doesn't mind doing dishes. Works out pretty great for me.

I do all the cooking.
Men are better cooks than women.

About 50/50 me and the wife. I usually cook on Sundays and she only works half day on Wednesday so she cooks. We generally go out to eat or order in on Saturday night. All other nights are leftovers. Don’t do breakfast often but it’s usually a joint effort if we do

Do y'all only eat fast food? Follow up question: just how fat are you?
Very rarely eat fast food. We eat out every lunch and dinner. Wife and I don’t eat breakfast.. My teenagers usually grab a sandwich from a coffee shop on the way to school.
ETA: And I’m a fat arse.

She cooks Monday Wednesday Friday I cook Sunday Tuesday Thursday. Saturday we either go out to eat for date night or we drink our dinner
I do all of the grilling. I usually cook steaks, burgers, ribs, chicken, pork tenderloin. On her nights she usually does pasta, some type of Mexican like tacos or enchiladas, or something she can bake in oven like chicken, casseroles, etc

Me. I like to cook and I'm good at it. My wife hates to cook and is bad at it. I don't let her know that though. I barter for BJ's and butt stuff or other special request. Plus, I let her retire 2 years ago and act like I hate my job. I get a lot of really fun paybacks.

I do 100% of the cooking, 90% of the shopping and 75% of the cleanup. The wife is appreciative!
