Also what i for sure remember is that Rickey had three or four daughters- Rickeeta, Rickietta, Rickenia et al.. all different variations of “Rickey”…. And also that same street had the first million dollar house in the area.. this was back in the 1980s, when million dollar homes were unheard of in Louisiana .. perhaps that was your house .. whoever owned it had a Corvette that Rickey famously borrowed and promptly crashed- resulting in him playing Saintsrep games with his jaw wired shut.. this was around the same time that he had to miss a game due to hemmorhoids .. What a time to be alive .

Phil Simms.....his brother bought property from me and moved in next door.
Bo Jackson- tuna fishing trip
Gary Busey/Tommy Lee Jones- worked deckhand on a fishing trip for them. This is before Busey bike wreck where he went crazy. Both tipped well so I will classify them as athletes.
Coached Julio Jones in city league football and middle school football. Still talk to him when he is in town.

Billy BJ Wallace- currently work with him. Moo State pitcher drafted over Jeter. Olympic pitcher. Phillies pitcher. Prison league pitcher. Google him.
Chaz Ramsey- says he is still hurt by the way LSU fans treated him after Dorsey tripped and fell on him during the Auburn game.

I met Johnny Unitas back in the mid 80s. I was attending a national trucking show held annually in Louisville Kentucky and he was there representing International truck. Funny thing, there was no one around but him and a representative of International. I was caught off guard, he signed a photo and we chatted briefly. Great guy.

I worked as a security guard at Lambeau Field in the mid 90’s so I won’t count the guys on those Packer teams.
