Everyone wants to defend their white collar job/field, and there are certainly human elements that will still be needed in the future, but many positions will still see severe reductions/eliminations due to AI.
Supply Chain will be greatly reduced.
So will doctors. So will accountants. So will financial advisors.
I don't believe we'll see any fully eliminated in our lifetime.

I'd argue the exact opposite. Busy jobs are often jobs that have repeatable tasks. Repeatable tasks are ideal for AI.

There was an article posted a couple of years ago where these super nerds who are pushing AI said lawyers were first. All of the discovery and searching legal precedent could be done by AI in seconds instead of days/hours including real time in court debate.

I understand that and I agree that AI could radically alter the legal profession and essentially do the entire job of paralegals and your associate attorneys who gather information. But whether for a jury trial or mediation, you will continue to need a living, breathing flesh-and-blood person.

People that say accounting have no idea what many accountants do or what automation we already have available. I'm an accountant and half of what I do is data manupilation and automating processes. The other half is reading tax code and case law to know what to do for part A. Accounting is just going to keep moving more towards data engineering, not get eliminated.
