Not so fast. We don't actually have AI yet. And some experts don't think it is possible. Now will trades be lost to automation? Maybe. But the 10 most common occupations hasn't really changed in a few hundred years.

I’m essentially a spreadsheet analyst. I guess I better start looking for ways to serve our AI overlords.
Maybe they will let me add fancy colors and borders to the spreadsheets for pay in ramen. It’ll be like I’m a new age interior designer.

I think a key point to remember is that you need a customer to accept AI too.
Banks have tried automatic client facing services for years, but it's taking forever to get full scale implementation because clients reject it. We're finally getting to a generation of consumers who have grown up with screens everywhere, so client facing AI is poised to take off IMO.

It probably won't happen like that. We are terrible at predicting the future. Example. Rather than automatic the bank interface with clients, we will probably use something similar to crypto, and banks will go away.

problem there is the technology has to work with a person here because nothing in logistics is black and white...there is a lot of human brain power and decision making needed in logistics.

Isnt there a difference between making something absolute obselete and just replacing. If 80% is replaced by AI and the rest are just updating protocol for the AIs then thats a huge deal.

In logistics, the P vs NP problem will still prevail. I don't think it'll be solved anytime soon.

I was at a party the other day and a 30-something year old woman (no pics) was bragging that she just took a job being a Loan Officer for an independent home loan company (maybe it was Assurance Financial?) and that if she closed 3-4 average home loans a month she would make around $100k per year. First, I have no idea how these people make that much $$ but they must do pretty well given all the billboards all over town. I have no idea how that profession is not already 100% automated.

I also thought about this the other day. I don’t know how the future of car salesmen can’t be affected. There are so many online options or apps to start the process and check prices. I feel like it will only get worse.
