Our house cleaners only take cash or checks, so I write one every two weeks when they come.

This morning at the convenience store. A lot of people seemed to be pissed off it took so long.

I currently write a $25 check every month to pay a medical bill for my daughter.

Because I am petty and will slow pay those cocksuckers for years.

Just about every day, for work. Occasionally for personal.

I honestly can’t remember. I used to have a storage building for a few months and the guy only took a check or cash. That was probably 15-20 years ago. I wouldn’t even know where to look for my checkbook these days if they’re even good anymore. Prob have an address from 4 residences ago.

I always laughed how a check has all of your info on it. Address (birth date in some cases) as well as your account number and routing number at the bottom. Never understood why there wasn’t more fraud and identity theft associated with checks.

I haven't gotten the soil in my yard tested because you have to send a check to do it. $8 check and I've had the testing kit for 3 or 4 years now.

I use a check to pay for my yearly camp dues and that's about it. I think I wrote one to renew my passport a few years ago.

Probably 3 years ago maybe.

All my money is direct deposit. Purchases are all made with credit cards, phone apps and apple pay.

Pay bills thru the bank, credit cards and direct withdrawal.

Pay others with venmo, zelle.

Money in the 21st century is all digital. Just numbers on a screen.

The other day actually. It was a company that doesn’t take cards

Funny thing is I work for a payment automation company that helps reduce check load for customers.

I wrote a check on Friday, the "school" my kid is going to this summer required cash or check to pay for field trips and I didn't have cash at home.

Before that it was probably a year ago for my kid's other school that didn't have auto-pay at the time. This past year they implemented online pay, so it'll be rare that I write a check going forward.

I've had the same check book for about 10 years now. Only time I write one now is when work is done around the house by this Hispanic guy.
