I was also told my mcat wasn’t good enough. Logically, how is that true when a 498 is good enough for others?

Who cares, they're celebrating their heritage. I'm sure you're comfortable with folks flying the confederate flag as a celebration of heritage.

That is significantly higher than most medical students and dental students have a higher GPA than incoming meds at LSU these days.
There's gotta be more going on than just "affirmative action". Didn't you apply to other places?
