Within 45 days with both. I was pretty militant about it though. With kids, you reward behavior you want repeated. If you roll in there every time they get cranky, they're just going to do it more.

breast-feeding to using baby formula.

Because they're not hungry after they finish feeding (depending on the woman, of course.)

Shocking. I'm proud to see a bunch of dudes in this thread that didn't give in to female bullshite, and got their kids to sleep normally within 6-8 weeks.

Use a sound machine. Being in the womb is like being inside a vacuum cleaner.

My son is 8 months now and he started sleeping through the night at about 2 months. He went through a stint of sleep regression at 6 months but it only lasted a couple weeks. We’ve been lucky so far.

Probably at 16 months consistently. Though she has her regressions every now and then, this week being one of them. She made 2 in October

My wife breastfeeds, so he wakes up to eat every 4-5 hrs. 8 months and still hasn’t slept through the night. I think we need to come up with a different plan. It’s getting to both of us.

Taking Cara Babies teaches how to stop the middle of the night feeding and a ton of other tips. Everything is backed by research. Can confirm that my family along with a few others have used her and we all had complete success.

Past when they have to eat every X hours, when we stopped going in there and falling for their fake crying shite.

We were spoiled parents. Both my daughters slept from 10:30pm to 6:00am from almost the day we brought them home. There was rare occasions when they were sick or something.
I hear horror stories of babies waking ever hour or two. I would have gone crazy.

First child 6 weeks

Interesting because they supposed to feed every 3-4 hours.

We have a newborn so starting this process over is something I have been dreading.

First child wasn't too bad but there was a stretch when all he did was scream for a couple hours a night.

My dream is having a Night Nurse. Sometimes I debate playing the lottery just for that.

Never. Kid has intractable epilepsy and usually has 1-2 seizures every night.

Cosleeping and breastfeeding.

But then again keep on “training” those infants. Perhaps you should have your six-month old get a job while you’re at it. Then again I don’t expect much from a society that dumps most babies st daycare all day so mommy can check email for a pittance and daddy can afford a monster truck.

She was sleeping 4 hours at a time within a month or two. That was her basic feeding schedule so I took the 4am shift (once she was done breast feeding) each day because I am an early riser anyway.

Wd didnt change piss diapers in the middle of the night.

4am - feed
8am - awake
12 pm - lunch
4pm - early dinner
8pm - sleep
midnight - wife woke up to feed

Started around 2 months. Lots of sleep regressions in between then and now though, but more good nights than bad
