I have a taaka vodka that is unopened. Found it cleaning out my paw paw house when he died. Found it 12 years ago, and it was probably a few years old when I found it.

I have a bottle of ever clear that has been around forever. I've used a little every now and then as a disinfectant, but it remains over half full after lord knows how many years.

Only bottle of alcohol in my house that doesn't get drunk is a bottle of Wild Turkey someone gave me when my son was born. Wild turkey 101 was my drink in college for a while, so that's why they got it. Plan to share it with my son when he's of age. He's 2 now, so like at least 10 years from now.

speaking from experience...you need to either store it laying down or at least turn it over once a month or so in order to wet the cork. if not, when you go to pop the cork, it will crumble that the whiskey will be crap.

A bottle of Cutty Sark scotch. It was a Christmas gift from a good friend in 1994, days before he died. One sip every Christmas, in his memory.

the MaCallan over 25 yr old anniversary malt.
Distilled 1971. Bottled 1997.
Still in wood box with belts and straw.
Never opened. Bought to drink at a special occasion but always forgot.

Tried some MaCallan at a bar after I bought this bottle and I was not impressed.

I'll probably leave it in my will.

I have a bottle of white lightning moonshine that has been on my bar for at least 5 years and hasn't been opened. It'll likely outlast me.

Scruffy has a bottle of Skip Rock Distillers Single Barrel Triticale Whiskey that his younger brother had a hand in making when he was working there.

It is signed and dated. Scruffy is saving it for a special occasion.

Someone brought over Not Your Father's Root Beer, and left 3 bottles in my fridge probably two years ago. I can't give that shite away. I'd throw it out, but trying to pawn it off on people has become sort of a sport.
