Any Sunday at LSU during football season at the Mr. Gattis buffet by Kirby Smith. Me and my buddies would get there at 11:30 and be there until the Saints game was over. All of us were hungover and would eat at least 4 pizzas each. None of us were fat miraculously. No way in hell I could do that now and not puke.

After I go crabbing. Crab isn’t the same once frozen so I’m eating as much as possible in 3 days after boiling. I’ll go home w/36 Dungeness crabs and eat half and pick the rest for crab cakes and crab dip.

Also, when I visit the New Orleans area. I’ve got a lot of stops to make for food

Taste of Texas circa 2016. A contractor was buying and I was eating. No need at all for the oversized "slice" of pecan pie.

Hungover me once ate 2 full Totinos meat pizzas and a McDonalds bacon egg and cheese biscuit in one sitting.

When I was still drinking that would have been a snack on some nights, not something to be proud of but it’s the truth.

Not mine, but my nephew came over to watch football a few years back.

I had smoked a butt and we'd put a solid dent in it throughout the day. That said, there were still 2-3 lbs of leftover when everyone went to bed.

That motherfricker got up and ate it all in the middle of the night and then spent two days on my couch in agony.

I was at a conference for my field which is great time for job interviews. I had 3 interviews lined up for that day and all of them involved a meal. Little did I know, they all took me to Ruth's Chris in the conference center hotel.

I was at meal 3 at Ruth Chris in one day and all I could fit was an appetizer and half a glass of wine. Must have looked like a huge bitch to these people. Never ever thought I'd complain about that.

Recurring: Hibachi restaurant….

I get the teriyaki steak, no vegetables substitute double chicken fried rice with extra garlic butter. My plate looks like it came right out of the dishwasher when I'm done eating

Single Moment - Houston rodeo cookoff last year… went on Thursday night (corporate night) and went tent hopping…. No booze but had so much greasy brisket I puked up about 2 pounds of half chewed meat in a trashcan …. Then went back for more inside other tents. Waddled to my car in pure misery. Never again.

I ate all but one piece of a whole tomato pie from St Pizza in January. The pain was worth it

I did the big Tex. I didn't even eat half. It was like $85 and the potato was my favorite part the steak was fatty. I started off strong but then after it started to settle I got the bubbles and slowed down. That hour goes fast.
Though I had a more enjoyable streak the next time I went to Amarillo at the Outback next to the big tex place.

I’ve probably had multiple moments, but the one I’ll never forget was after winning a big new account in Broussard.

On the way back to BR, the office leader and I stopped at the Popeyes buffet and instead of my normal 3 piece (sometimes 4 piece) combo, I put away 8 pieces to celebrate.

It was disgusting and glorious all at once.

Anytime I get Blue Store chicken wings. I can eat 15 of those, but that is like eating 30 wings from a regular wing joint. I can’t stop eating them.
