What’s your employer’s 401K match?

My wife’s (architect) employer stopped 401K contributions in late 2008 and haven’t started back...despite raking in cash the last 3 years.

My company matches 75% up to 8% of salary.
They gave us an extra pct after Trump’s tax cuts.
Relative to my friends’ employers, this seems like a real solid 401K.

I think it is full match to 3% and half match the next 3%.

Don’t get too hung up on this benefit.

It’s good to have (obviously) but you can easily make up for a lower level match in additional salary or other benefits.

Starts at 2% of salary contribution. Works up to 10% at 10 years of service. Also get a pension.

25% match up to 6% which sucks

Need to stay 5 years to vest in pension. I think it’s 5% of salary per year. Each year get maybe 3% service credit on entire balance.

DO NOT only invest in your 401(k) for retirement.
