My family always skips church on Easter because the not real Christians that only go on Christmas and Easter show up in their shorts and dri fits and tacky up the holy experience
Going to church once a year won't save your soul people!

We don't have kids, so usually brunch followed by uninterrupted peace for the rest of our lives.

Usually sneezing and itching eyes. Occasionally dodging a tornado. Once in a while surprising a grumpy snake.

Church, lunch, egg hunt, family wiffleball game, fight because of said game. All good times!

We go to my parents house, do an egg/basket hunt with the kids, and then a big brunch with biscuits and gravy, eggs, sausage, bacon, danish and a lot of bloody marys and mimosas.

A weekend of intense Easter games with 40-plus family and extended family divided into four teams, replete with a campout on somewhere around 10-15 acres and a pond around a now-deceased matriarch's house.

Mock the idea that killing/sacrifice of large living beasts grants good crops and fertile females.
Mock the idea that someone else did it for you.

Appease my wife by going and spending it with her family even though I'd rather sit at home alone or go fishing.
