A friend of mine was riding his motorcycle on Airline highway in LaPlace. A car pulled out in front of him while he was riding in excess of the posted speed limit. He clipped the rear of the vehicle and was thrown off of his motorcycle into the path of an 18 wheeler coming the opposite direction.
He had a closed casket funeral.
