Does dying on the inside count?

Aside from diseases, knew one guy whose dad was walking down the stairs, tripped and fell down stairs. Pencil in his pocket stabbed him in the heart.

It wasnt the way he died but the circumstances. A guy at my work was retiring after over forty years. On his last day the boss sent him home early so he came back with his new boat to show off. He never got to use the boat. He died in his sleep that night. Sucks.

I found a guy cut in half by a train one night. Wasn't a handful of blood anywhere.

My parents' neighbor hacked up his cancer-riddled wife with a machete inside their house (he chased her all around it) before blowing his brains out in the backyard. Pull the trigger and fell backwards into the pool.

A guy I went to high school with was on the side of the road, under his car, when the car was struck by another vehicle, knocking it off the jack.

The burning alive ones sound way worse, unless they suffocated on smoke first.

Classmates driving to fast on a turn, approached a bridge with rail road ties as railings. The car veered into the railroad tie smashing the radiator, skipped on top of the engine, smashed through the dash - glove box area into my classmate. To remove him from the car, they cut the railroad tie in front and rear of his body. We will never forget.

Knew this kid in elementary school who's dad was riding his bike one morning and got mowed down from behind and dragged a bit by this old man who kept going.

His family was friend's with my grandma and she got the phone call that morning while I was waiting for the bus at her house. Told me about what happened. I got on the bus and the kid was sitting there and had no idea what had happened since he had already left for school. I had to sit there, knowing this dude's dad was dead, and not say shite. He got called out of class that morning.

KId in middle school flipped a tire swing and broke his neck. It was a “bad” way to die because it was instant but a lot of classmates where with him. It was at his home, not at school.

I’m an EHS manager and the worst call I have responded to personally was a guy who got his shirt and body caught in an industrial large down in Brazil. It was mush. Awful awful

Henry VIII was a monster. The most notable death was he had some poor sap deep fried alive in a vat of oil. I didn’t know the guy though.

I knew a lawyer in BR who was stabbed about 50 times. Her husband is now in Angola for it.

Also a guy who was sliced in half, right across the chest, in a BR plant. A rail car had rolled over him. Might’ve been Dow, don’t recall.

A guy a few years ahead of me in high school, his mom was driving down I-10 when a semi ahead of her ran over another semi’s mudflap that broke off and was laying in the highway. The truck slung the mudflap back through her windshield and nearly decapitated her. Killed instantly. Very sad shite for his family, they’re great people.
