Stabbed to death by a dope dealer in the kitchen of her home. Her son allegedly owed the dealer $20.

Not at all. Caps on med-malpractice at the time was barely enough to cover medical expenses and attorneys fees.

My best friend of many years, El Josey Wales, died four years ago today from terminal cancer. Seeing what it did to him was brutal in the month and a half he had from his diagnosis.

My father had a friend who somehow got run over by his on disk. A large heavy disk. Tractor kept going and finally got hung up in the trees at the end of the field. It was not until hours later that someone found him. Quite dead and in several pieces.

Guy moving a trailer home to my uncles deer property north of gloster, ms. Parked on steep grade. Had to get under the truck for some reason. Trailer home pulled truck backwards over the dudes chest cavity. My uncle was watching from 10 feet away. Truck front tire rolled completely over him. This was a semi truck, not 1/4 ton. Dudes chest and face was crushed and he was pouring blood out of his mouth all over the ground. His head and chest were pushed down into the mud. Medivac helicopter came in and got him. Only property in the national forest where they could’ve landed due to the clearing. Dude survived. fricking incredible.

Grandfather fell from a 3 story roof. He was 83 and wouldn’t retire from work.. missed a step on the ladder... I miss that old man. He was the only male figure in my life growing up.

My friend Tod Waggner accidentally hung himself in the shower. They ruled it a suicide, but I wasn't so sure.

My other friend had a girlfriend, Terry Chaney, that was hit by a bus in broad daylight. Just blood everywhere.

One of my teachers at Mt. Abraham had a desktop computer explode, wounding her. Then her kitchen caught on fire and in the ensuing panic, she reached for a towel draped over a block of knives. The knife block fell, and a large chefs knife plunged into her chest cavity. A chair then fell onto the knife, sending it deeper into her torso. The entire house subsequently exploded.

My friend Billy, a class clown type, was decapitated by shrapnel from a car accident that had just occurred on some train tracks just outside of town.

Despite all this, me and two other friends went to Paris to remember our fallen friends. Well, wouldn't you know it, a giant neon restaurant sign fell off a building, and pulverized my friend Carter.

The guy who was the Mike the Tiger mascot in the late 80s was decapitated when a flatbed trailer disconnected from its vehicle, crossed the center lane, and cut right through his car.

They found the Tiger suit in his trunk.

He was a good guy.
