why in the frick would I bother to do that? I could ask you to do the same and provide more detail and support other than "they excel at korean, mexican, sushi, and vietnamese". That's no more proof than if I were to name a city and say "they have excellent....."
I mean, objectively, by rankings, food people, ethnic make up, and just common societal knolwledge, LA is an incredibly diverse and renonwned food seen. The only one that looks like an idiot is you. The guy layed out the good and the bad and made a fair and reasonable arguement and you called him an idiot for providing no support, while providing no support of a counter argument.
TL;DR you called someone a dumbass for saying something that is reasonably common knowledge making yourself look like a dumbass.

To live or to visit? I love Orlando and I wouldn’t have wanted to grow up anywhere else but I can’t figure out why people come from all over the world just for Disney & the other tourists destinations. There are so many awesome places and great activities that aren’t really available to anyone just passing through.
Denver has to be up there too if we’re talking about places to visit, my recommendation to anyone going there is to rent a car and get out of the city as soon as possible.
Both places are great to live and raise families in but neither are places that I’d want to spend a vacation at.

ATL
Many boards reek of ATL jealousy. People who hate on Atlanta have only been through the airport or driven through it on the way to Florida. The truth is that while the traffic does suck, this place is booming with commerce and education and has a shite ton to do. It has decent weather and is basically nestled in the middle of a thick forest. COL can't be beat for a city of its size. As a single, mid 20's male I wouldn't live anywhere else.

Los Angeles
Definitely agree here. Been several times to all parts of the area and don't see the hype. Only good things about it are the geography and the weather.

San Fran. It's become dirty and nasty for the amount of wealth accumulated there.
It's pretty concentrated.

Austin is the correct answer here, followed closely by Seattle. Both are fine top 20ish cities, but calling them among the best places to live in 2018 is ridiculous.

I met a Jewish couple from Brooklyn a while back who said that when they drive from houston to Nola, they get worried about stopping for gas or food. They think anti Semitic hillbilly white guys are just waiting to snatch them. I told them they have nothing to fear, no one cares if they’re Jewish, and they’re in more danger in New Orleans than at a gas station in Scott. They seemed surprised.
I think Brooklyn itself isn’t more antisemetic than Louisiana or the South as a whole. What they don’t realize is the South is filled to the brim with Zionists who actually really like the Jews, and want to get raptured as soon a season possible so the Jews can fight Satan for them and become Christians to join them in heaven.
This certainly wasn’t the case 50 years ago, but I think you can make an argument that the South by the most Jew friendly place in the world. The problem is Jews don’t like Republicans. I don’t think I’ve ever directly met an antisemite in the South that wasn’t at least 20 years older than my parents.

I don’t know anyone my age or my parents age that has anything against the Jews. I know way more people that hate black people and Hispanics. As I said, I think it boils down to Jewish liberalism that makes them think the South is antisemetic.
I will admit though that Southerners would have no idea how to feed a Kosher Jew though. Probably the most hostile cuisine to them outside of China.

But isn't calling them top 20 essentially saying they're among the best places to live?

I never met a Jew before I left Alabama.

I never understood the hate for the Jews. I don't know that many, a dozen or so, but they're all good people. Honestly, they are some of the least judgemental people I know.
