What's the longest you've ever been stuck in traffic?

I've been pretty fortunate and the longest I've been stuck is about 3 hours passing through Atlanta

Waiting for one of those poor bastards that got stuck in Atlanta during the ice storm and ditched their vehicle to chime in.

does a snowstorm leaving us stuck on i20 between shreveport and monroe back in the 80s that resulted in campfires in the median and playing cards with truck drivers for roughly 24 hours count?

after an 11 hr drive through the middle of the night, 1 hr from the end, I had to wait about 5 hrs, parked, on the interstate. There was a fatality about 1/4 mile in front of me.

I put it in park, slept and told the guy next to me to honk his horn when we got going

I think a few years ago when they had all that traffic in Slidell and I was coming home from Perdido. Missed the memo and had to sit in traffic for something like 6 hrs. Never made that mistake again.

Took me 15 hours to get from Destin to BR after the 4th of July. Think the fastest I ever got up to on that tip was 30 mph for about 20 minutes

8+ hours on the Basin bridge back in 2006/2007 when a cucumber truck overturned on the Whiskey Bay bridge.
Saw things I never thought I'd see on I-10..... a kid skateboarding, a dance team practicing, and a guy fishing off the side.

Stuck on i10 for Hurricane George with my Dad and my dog. I was young at the time. My mom and my sister were in the car in front.

Waited hours and hours and hours. Seemed liked days.

Stuck about 5 or 6 hours behind OJ Simpson chase traffic driving from San Diego to LA. Never saw anything interesting because I was way too far back.

8 or 9 hours from New Orleans to Natchitoches during one stupid hurricane I can't remember the name of.
