I lived in north county San diego for 10 years, moved about 6 months ago and I miss it so much.
Stay out of downtown San Diego, the beaches in North County are where it's at (del Mar, Encinitas, Carlsbad)

I've been to both. Have you?
I've been to Madrid, London, Berlin, Frankfurt, Rome, Seoul, Tokyo, Beijing, Rio, Sydney, Paris, Tel Aviv, Amman, and Krako to name a few.
NYC and LA are mirror cities. The fact you don't see that tells me you've never left your little bubble.

Yes and I live in L.A.
What are the similarities since they are "mirror cities"?

I like New York because I love museums and they have really great ones.

We’re all thoroughly impressed with your passport book. Kudos to you and yours. But to say L.A. and NY are mirror cities is ridiculous.

Get out of the US, and you'll understand what I'm saying. Hell, for some of you just out outside of LA.

I’ve been to many of the cities you listed and others, but ok. I’m actually due to update my passport before we head to South Africa in the spring because it’s set to expire next year. Realized that when I was recently in Mexico City.

I’m NYC fan and San Fran fan.
I love Atlanta but it lacks identity, but does a ton of commerce.
Tampa is awesome as is miami.

Then it should be very easy to detail. I look forward to your detailed description on the differences between the two cities.

I love when someone posits something completely idiotic and when they get called out for it just respond with “well prove me wrong.” As if it’s on the rest of us to educate you.
Care to educate the class on why you’re right instead, oh wise and traveled one?

All major cities are the same. Same stores. Same layout. It's the result of globalization. I'm not passing judgment on that, just pointing out what is.
If you're butthurt about that, feel free to contradict my assessment of my travels with those of your own.

FFS.
Generically speaking, what makes them so different? This shouldn't be a hard ask for someone so worldly or someone who lives in LA.
