San Diego and Chicago are my two favorite cities in the U.S.
If I was rich enough to live wherever I want in America and have seasonal homes wherever, I would spend my summers in Chicago, my fall and late spring in New Orleans, and the rest of the year in San Diego.

No Order:
Boston
San Diego (aka a whale's VJ)
Phoenix
Miami
Austin (Prior to what it’s become. I left in 16)

It's been awhile, but Denver, I would say (if Denver counts).
San Antone proper is aight, but I've had the benefit of being in some of the sketchier places, so I can't endorse it on an "overall" standpoint.
Of what I saw of Charlotte, it wasn't too bad.

I like the amenities Denver offers, but the city itself is just above average, imo.
Phoenix is probably the best and most functional of the great sprawl cities (Houston, Dallas, Atlanta, Los Angeles, Jacksonville, Charlotte, Las Vegas, etc)

NYC and LA are mirror cities.
You’re trolling

There are an aweful lot of homeless folks there every time I visit. Not too mention when my family came to it was pride festival. Nasty Shite show.....

I'm a big fan of Boston. I go every summer and it's just an awesome place

The sketchy areas of San Antone are safer than the sketchy areas of every city mentioned ITT besides San Diego, SLC and Boise.

Chicago, which seemed to never end. Then I went to Tokyo & learned it is 9 times the size if Chicago, which is spread out for miles. In Tokyo, everything is straight up, wayyyy up.

Salt Lake City, San Antonio, San Diego, Flagstaff

Largest for me is Chicago. And will 100% go back. I could spend a whole trip just hitting up their museums and restaurants alone.

Houston and surprisingly I really enjoyed Cleveland

Chicago is up there for me. I know that’s going to bring a hailstorm of downvotes on the OT, but the areas where a visitor would ever actually be around are great.
I love Chicago and never felt unsafe there except when I went to a White Sox game.
