The crime in Chicago is ____________.

You will be ready to leave in ______________.

You must have never lived in too many other places if you love Chicago.

You better not send your kids to Northwestern.

Just giving a few replies you might see from the OT,

This is what I just dont get

You have every single downside of having to live there and you cant even walk the city for a break from your taxes and horrible government

You can do better almost anywhere else in the suburbs

New York when Giuliani was in charge. Nothing close. Lived there temporarily as a stock broker trainee for four months and back for another two weeks a year later for more training for brokers who made the cut.
Then twice to the US Open tennis tournament. No where like it.
I weep for that New York.

The U.S.S. Constitution is our #1 thing to do. After that, we'll check out some of the other historical stuff. On Sunday the cruise ship leaves for Maine and Canada.

In the late 80's that would be St. Louis. If you were from out of town, you never had to buy a drink in a bar.

When you’re done walk the pier over to Pier 6 and have a drink. Great skyline views right on the water.

Wouldn’t recommend the food though.

Could also head over to the Tall Ship in Eastie which has great views of the city from across the water.

Great list, I cannot disagree with it. I may throw Tampa Bay in there, but it's not top 3.

Seattle

I’m not criticizing and I haven’t been back since Covid, but what was your pull to Seattle?

I’m sure I might’ve just not done it right with my visit but it didn’t grab me when I was there compared to places like NYC, Miami, etc.

Great call. I have still yet to make it there so I tend to forget to recommend it, but it looks awesome.

Yeah, I have read a lot of his suggestions for Boston. Including the one he just posted above.

Even post Rudy/pre Covid, NYC was unlike anywhere else in the world.

And Christmas up there despite being cliche was pretty cool.

Now getting out of the city to the airport? Not so great.

Chicago

But for your own sanity, don’t go in the winter. They have horrible winters.
