We've only had shite Zoos, so I guess that's my answer.

I’ve only ever had border collies as an adult. They’re somewhat crazy and hyper, but so smart. They have the best dog empathy of any dog I’ve ever seen.

I’m gonna get shite on for this…

Chihuahua

Our family had one growing up and that was far and away the coolest/most loyal dog we’ve ever owned. I understand why chihuahuas have the bad rap they do but this thing was so laid back. He’d freak out when someone he didn’t know came over but once he saw we were fine with them he was everyone’s best friend. Super good dog.

RIP duke

My GSP female is chill. She is great with kids. She is a great one. She was a little wild as a puppy but grew out of it around 12-15 months.

Rottweiler hands down.

Had one growing up. No other dog is more loyal to its owner.

ETA: my best friend growing up was a German Shorthair Pointer named Chili. I loved that dog. He was so aware of his surroundings when we would be outside. It was magnificent to watch.

American Akita/Pit Mix.

Smartest, most well behaved, loyal dog I've ever owned!

A lab mix. He died last month. I’m still heartbroken.

Rest in peace buddy. You were so loved.

Both me, and one of the dogs, has Covid right now.

Weird seeing him sick. I feel bad that I probably gave it to him.

I’ve only ever had labs and bulldogs.

Most loyal was a 100# beast male chocolate lab. Critters didn’t last long in the yard. Great with the kids and very protective.

Most chill was our first bulldog. Great TV watching companion. Generally goofy and entertaining. If they do something and you laugh at them they will do it over and over.

My best friend and his wife have a Pomsky. Dog is super smart and very loving. Has a great memory for people. He might not see us for 4 or 5 months but when we show up he wigs out he’s so excited. One odd thing is he doesn’t like bacon. Only dog I’ve ever seen like that. He’s gay for cheese though.

Mini Dachshund best for the laughs. 12lb dog charged 4 point buck yesterday. Struted back after running off. He loves my wife more.

My half lab/golden retriever loved me more and was a great dog.

I’ve had a chocolate lab and currently a golden retriever.

Both great pups to own and have around. I would say they’re equally intelligent but my lab was a little more hardheaded. The lab was a boy and the golden a girl so that could explain it. Either way, couldn’t go wrong either way.
