I spoke with Chicken in 2005ish at a tailgate and he told me it was super young, teenagers, college students.
Now I'm sure a majority of those are still posting which would put them in their late 30s, early 40s now.

no way of knowing but I get the impression that the average age of the group is older than that, on the rant, they are mentally stuck around 11-13

Sounds crazy but we need to maybe do some targeted TD advertising to the more respectable groups of kids around the SEC.

My 90 year old father was a faithful TD reader up to a few days before he died. He never posted though.

On the Whole - Overall - "T.D." has a far wider/broader age range than you might think.
It depends on the particular Forum, Topic, Thread, etc. Tiger Rant draws an entirely different demographic and wider age range than say the Political Forum. OT draws more women and perhaps the most disparate group of all. Tech Board is going to be far younger and predominantly male.

The Rant probably draws new posters during football season, some of whom would be students. That’s my guess. Otherwise probably few new posters joining.
